Fashion Illustration Classes
Launched during the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival in March 2010, The Patsyfox Drawing Salon offers boutique classes in Fashion Illustration for inspired beginners through to more experienced illustrators. Classes are strictly small in size and offer personalised tuition and demonstrations by Angie Réhe, creator of the Patsyfox illustrated blog (www.patsyfox.com), and lecturer in Fashion Design and Illustration at RMIT University. Learn tips and secrets discovered through 20 years working in the fashion industry as a designer and illustrator. Classes held in the beautiful environment of the Frankie and Swiss studio space in South Yarra. Learn, be inspired, have fun.
Introduction to Fashion Illustration is aimed at complete beginners or those with some drawing experience. In a short amount of time it will take someone from the very foundations of fashion illustration through to an understanding of the various media most useful in this discipline. Excellent for recapping previous drawing skills also. Everyone can learn to draw; they just need the right approach and techniques. Tips and short cuts included.

New course: Intermediate Fashion Illustration. An 8 week intermediate level course which bridges the Introduction to Fashion Illustration and Advanced level. Cement the core skills learned in the Introductory course and extend the exploration of new media and textural rendering techniques, compositional planning, alternative views, and menswear. Suits those who have completed the Introduction to Fashion Illustration course or who have a strong grasp of the core Fashion Illustration skills. Take your Fashion Illustration skills to the next level.

Super Sunday Sessions in Creative Fashion Illustration - Stand-alone advanced classes
Push your existing skills to new levels through a series of creative exercises featuring exploration of media and techniques. The world’s best illustrators will be examined and discussed. Emphasis is on discovering and developing each person’s unique style. Suitable for those wishing to study design or illustration, current design/illustration students, or professional designers/Illustrators. (Intro Fashion Illustration or some drawing experience is required.) Featuring a wide variety of creative and technical exercises, each session has a focused topic.
When: Sundays 1.00pm – 5.00pm
