Chocolate Box: Creative Fashion Illustration - new course returning soon!
*The one where you are continuously surprised, challenged, and expanded. Like life, you’ll never know what you’re going to get.
Open level / advanced. All welcome.
LIVE ONLINE CLASSES
Fashion illustration courses rarely go past beginner level, and almost never into advanced / open levels. As such illustrators are left to find inspiration and improvement strategies within themselves, which is not always possible. To continue growing it’s essential to work beyond your known limits and comfortable zones, but how do you know what you don’t know if you don’t know it?
The Chocolate Box: Creative Fashion Illustration course is designed to provide you with new weekly challenges to push your skills past current levels and open new creative pathways and ideas. New media, techniques or combinations, new viewpoints, creating new styles of images, mastering advanced poses, achieving more professional outcomes. While it is aimed at those with drawing experience, you are welcome to join at any level. As with my face-to-face classes, my online classes are kept small, so you get all the personal attention you need: class size is capped at 10 people. (2 less than in face-to-face classes)
Live online classes: These 3hr-sessions are “live” on Zoom, and operate as a virtual classroom, with informative instruction, perfect-view “bird’s eye” demonstrations, and real-time feedback and corrections on work throughout the class. This method offers a surprising intimacy which can be advantageous to the face-to-face experience. Students have access to re-watch all demonstrations and class recordings for one month after the course finishes and will receive by email any relevant class notes, drawing references, and optional homework suggestions.
Classes run for 3 hours on a Tuesday evening from 6.30pm – 9.30pm.
